Biography

I was born in Seoul, Korea. I have lived in Seoul for more than 10 years. Moving to Toronto and graduating from York Mills Collegiate Institute in Toronto, ON, I decided to pursue electrical engineering at the University of Toronto, St.George Campus. My major is Electrical Engineering and now it has been two years since I started working as an undergraduate research assistant/ corporate liaison for Professor Steve Mann. I am proud of having joined Professor Mann's lab since Professor Mann is the most influential pioneer in the field of wearable computing and has brought the seed that grew to be today's MIT wearable computing project. Professor Mann was the one who both proposed, to the IEEE Computer Society and was Publications Chair, of the first IEEE International Symposium on Wearable Computing(ISWC97). I feel very grateful to have this opportunity as an undergraduate student at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Toronto. Just to let you know how great this department is, here is a brief EE ranking. Although I am not a big fan of rankings, I believe it still disguishes renowned universities from others. The above ranking is from The Gourman Report (A Rating of Undergraduate Programs in American and International Universities), Tenth Edition by Dr. Jack Gourman, The Princeton Review, (New York, NY), 1999

Research Interests

I am interested in wearable computing, telecommunications and electromagnetics in the field of EE. However, my major goal is pushing a business side and getting an MBA degree later on.

Resume

My resume in pdf(I put it down for now)
