I use an Emacspeak-based system (made a different menu system -
http://richip.dhs.org/~sachac/notebook/emacs/yatm.el). Inexpensive,
easy to get working, but takes some getting used to.

I'm on a Sony Vaio U1 right now. Tiny computer, but battery life
sucks. Will try to convince my department to buy a CharmIT... =)
