Hi,
If anybody is doing another group purchase, I would like to reserve 10 units
for myself. Also Chuck, can you tell me(or mail me) the prices (shipping
costs included) of the LCD as well as the motorola driver chip.

Another Question....
As far as I could see, the PDFs (on the motorola driver chip and the Kopin
LCD) are for a mochrome display. Does it mean that the LCD put on eBay is a
mochrome one?

I called a "local" (and since I live in a rural community, I use the word
"local" very loosely) electronics supply house, and asked them about the
driver chip. He got back to me, today.

Good news and bad news -- the chips are available, but only on a roll, and
in large quantity. I can't buy one or two chips. However, since I think
wear-hard list members have spoken for somewhere around 120 displays total,
another group purchase may be in order. I asked him about this possibility,
and we'll see how Motorola responds to selling "only" 100-150 of the chips.
I've also asked him about getting samples of the chip -- it never hurts to
ask. He said it'll probably be next Tuesday or Wednesday before we hear
back from them.

BTW: Only 1 person has gotten back to me about the group purchase, and
approved the final distribution numbers. Please send me an email, if you
were involved in the original group. I'll also need your addresses, so I
can get a shipping estimate for each of you.
