If you (or others) do ever need any of these Cyberdisplays, I have also ordered a 42 pack (many are already reserved...I actually would have bought *one* display at that price had it appeared on Ebay). Given the number here who will wish to get their displays up and running, there are only two options available (of which I am aware...) 1. Organise a group purchase of the MCVVQ111 or 110s. Note that the "AM" mono display is the version I connected up with my homebrew driver board (so you *do* have the right displays). 2. Ask Tony from Tekgear *very* nicely to provide a group purchase price for RS170 boards. I would suggest the latter. Having personally designed and built a driver board based on the MCVVQ111, I would say that option 1 is *not* a straight-forward choice for most. (Mine works just great...but it involved some *very* tight soldering...and if anyone *does* have the driver IC, contact me, I will be willing to assist). Trying to get these ICs from Motorola is like getting blood from a stone. I am also intrigued that there may be a Sony driver solution! (?) So Tony, anything you can offer us? -- Subscription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with subject of "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" toWear-Hard Mailing List Archive (searchable): http://wearables.blu.org Please, *PLEASE* don't subscribe through a forward/expander/false domain
