Wow! That's almost a seal of approval by Doug.  I might
be on the right track here. *grin*

Here's some more info on my view of the TC-1000 as

Hmmm it seems to have the 1Ghz Crusoe processor!
The screen is hard tempered glass which is supposedly
scratch proof, and it supports 768MB RAM ... wow.

I don't know much about CF GPS, but I'm playing with the
same hardware that is inside this one ...

I like the engine ... that CF version also has an
MMCX connector ... you can add an external active
antenna like this one ...

Which is magnetic mount and can stick on yer roof.
