You might ask around at www.gpspassion.com - the folks there have tried
almost everything.

Subject: Looking for recommendations for CF card style GPS receivers...

I'm seriously looking at purchasing a HP/Compaq
TC-1000 tablet PC as the core of my wearable.
Unfortunately there are no legacy serial ports
on the TC-1000 and I will not be able to use my
Garmin GPS-35 without some serious hacking.

I curious if anyone has any experience and
recommendations for CF card style GPS receivers?
The TC-1000 has a CF slot as well as a PCMCIA
type II but I would like to keep the PCMCIA slot
free.

I'm looking at the Holux GM-270 or the ultra
sensitive version (supposedly you can get a fix
inside of a building - wow!). Has anyone used
this unit?
