Some touch screens emulate a mouse, and can be plugged right into the PS/2 mouse port. You 'tap' the screen (usually with a stylus) to 'click'. My old Palmax mini notebook operated like that. Also, you can buy overlays from many places. I believe there are other types of touch screens that do not emulate mouse, and some can be switched to different modes of operation. The overlays typically comes in sizes from 6.4" to 15". The StrongARM and X-Scale processors have touch screen capability built into the chip. I have forgotten who the companies are that sell the touch screen overlays, but they can't be hard to find with google search. There are also some small text/graphics LCDs with built-in touch screens. -- Doug >--- >Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. >Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com). >Version: 6.0.467 / Virus Database: 266 - Release Date: 4/1/2003 > > >-- >Subscription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with subject of >"subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" to
