Chuck,
Thanks for your reply!
Allow me to expand a little, on my question.
I Need to use a standard windows pc, probably based on
an EPIA board. Can't do Linux, and the twiddler
thingy!
So any hack would need to be to a MS windows system,
boring I know, and not very cutting edge!
As regards to keyboards, I meant whether there is a
standard way of wiring any (or most) Palm or POcket pc
keyboards, ie would a wiring hack work for ANY PALM
and another scheme which would work for any POCKET PC
keyboards, or do we need to wire each paricular key
board model differently? If each system has just one
way of being wired, we can pick any one that suits our
particular purpose, eg. a folding one, or when space
is really tight one of the thumb key pads etc..
BTW havent seen anything regarding PPC keyboard
interfacing, its mostly palm stuff.
Would all who answer this question pls include links
to pages with examples, schematics, drivers etc. That
way I hope me and others can have a handy reference as
to what to do exactly.
Its a funny thing about lack of Windows drivers. I
would have thought most of the development work would
be done on WIndows machines and then ported across. So
they could just offer their development drivers, but
none seem to bother.
Forget about the mouse for now, will think of that
later!
THanks for your time !
MAsh
