I'm going to repeat the question I asked last time: anyone knows how to
run iBook in clamshell mode (operating while the lid closed)? I can't find
anything about it but <http://www.keindesign.de/stefan/ibook.html> which
points to expired links. (Before I try rebuilding the Darwin kernel I'd
rather fish for an Open Firmware based solution).

The thing is fairly small and rugged enough for a backpack, and can do at
least 3 h, 5 h with HD spun down. On the minus side the display adapter is
bulky.
