Subject: [ARFORUM] Embedded NVIDIA 3D Accelerator for Mobile AR Hi all, For those of you conducting mobile augmented reality research, I recently became aware of a new embedded, low power, NVIDIA based 3D graphics accelerator. A custom built system using this card would be a nice alternative to using a backpack mounted Dell Inspiron. While attending a conference recently, I spoke with engineers at Advanced Interactive Systems who developed their own wearable computer with 3D hardware acceleration. NVIDIA assisted them in developing the board. Quantum3D is currently selling it as a product called"Sentris". Here is a link to the product information page. http://www.quantum3d.com/embedded/sentiris.htm Best Regards, Jarrell ------------------------------------------------------------------- Jarrell Pair E-mail:
