Otherwise I'd venture into this only if I secure the camera schematics
beforehand rather than banging my head off the wall later :)
You can combine RGB
(http://www.epanorama.net/links/videocircuits.html#rgbsvideocvideo) or try
with the resistor idea and get H/V sync into CSync separately with some TTL
ICs. Check this circuit for example http://home1.gte.net/bs/sharp2.html
(disregard the fact it connects to a SHARP LCD, the HV sync combiner is what
we care about here)

Or just look up on ePanorama.net or Google for more ideas...
